It is of the opinion of Ivan that before any searching for treasure begins (of
course after defeating the enemies) we should discuss the way we shall divided
the treasure to avoid fights. Ivan says that his opinion is that normal
treasure (gems, coins, art objects, etc.) should be divided evenly according
to value or kept as common party goods for the use of the entire party (a
party purchase such as a boat). Also, weapons and magic items should be
divided according to what character they would be most useful to. He means
that it would be senseless to give a magic wand to either himself or Carideth
if neither of them can use them, but it would be a good idea to give say a
magic sword to either Carideth of himself rather than to a mage.
