It appears a vocal spell component is required for his healing power.  Ivan is
6'11".  Perhaps Ivan should try to grab him off his horse and make sure he
can't or doesn't try that crap again, while you hang a licking on him. 
Perhaps Ivan could get him in one of those arm locks where you can push the
person's arm up his back harshly and cause pain (tell me if you don't know
what I'm talking about), and cover his mouth or squish his throat with the
other arm, of course the first priority is that he can't heal himself anymore
(by making him unable to talk), and second to hold him in a going place so
that you can pound the living &$#@ out of him.  Or maybe we could both hold
him together and strangle him to death.  Let Ivan know what you think.
