Ivan reluctantly agrees to not torture the leader, and not to scalp him
either. He will aid in holding the leader so the wound can be bound. Ivan
says, "I find it unlikely that he would know where to even start to look for
Ruinad except if they have orders to rendezvous at a certain location after a
situation such as this. It would, however, be a good idea to extract all the
information possible from him that might be useful. Actually, he's just the
slaver leader and he may not have any useful information at all. It's worth a
try at any rate. As for the ring, Aardvarkin, we should collectively have a
look at it and decide at least what it is and what it does before it goes to a
single member of the party.
I guess it is also possible that the leader guy thinks we are going to kill
him anyways, so he may not talk at all and just wait to be killed. If and
when it comes to that point, killing him is a rather dirty job. I don't mind
doing it at all! Those bloody slavers kept me in a camp for too many years.
I would very much like the job of finishing him off when we're done with him."
Mr. Dm: I say the last part of this, where I talk about killing him rather
quietly so he (the leader) won't hear.
