Greenbolt examines the ring closely. "Yes," he says, "this is like the ones I
read about.  It's one of the legendary bands of Zrin, forged long ago by a
race of forgotten dwarves.  In the book I read in my master's library while
still an apprentice, it said that there were supposedly others made.  What
became of them is a mystery.  Well, looks like this one is solved..... This
ring has the power to staunch wounds and also has the power to completely heal
the wearer, although the charge for this power is limited.  Since our 'friend'
over there has already used at least one of the charges, there may only be a
few left.  This ring should only be used in the direst emergency."

He continues: "There's also a command word that needs to be spoken in order
for the ring's power to work.  If our friend comes around later, we might do
well to 'convince' him to share it with us."
