Carideth cautiously opens the east doorway and peeks through. It is a large,
irregularly shaped room, about fifty feet long at its longest point and twenty
feet wide. Another passage extends south at the back of the room.. Hmm, this
isn't working, is it? I shall draw..

This room is very ornately decorated, or once was, at one point in time. Great
silken drapes now lie in shreds, ornamental swords are now rusted, and
carvings in the stone walls are cracked and falling apart. There is a single
large, rectangular table in the room, with two great thrones at each end, and
several smaller chairs lined up along the edges. The table, chairs, and
thrones are all wooden and are badly scorched. It looks as if someone
unsuccessfully tried to burn them. There are several rotting wooden utensils
and plates on the table, and several more on the floor, but other than that
the room is quite bare.

The only exits are the door you came through, and a door in the south passage.
