Malcolm gently strokes his mustache. "I realize time is short, but how do we
know this isn't a trick? Still, it WOULD be five to one against him, and I
don't see how he could possibly try to attack us in the middle of a town
anyway.. If we're going to save him, we'd better do it now. Otherwise, I'll
have nothing to do with it."

Borack mutters something under his breath, and firmly states that though this
man may well indeed deserve to be saved, he'll have no second thoughts about
turning him over to his former masters should he prove to be any trouble. "Of
course, we'd be getting a free wagon if we went through with this..
admittedly, it doesn't seem to be very comfortable nor very clean, but at
least we could put our stuff in it and let that horse pull it. We'd better
hurry up and go through with this, though! Someone's bound to notice the wagon
any minute now if we delay any longer!"

Firmly taking Malcolm and Carideth by the hands, he begins a brisk walk to the
wagon. "Come on!" shouts the man. "Help me get out and we can push it back up
again and drive off!"

"Just a minute, sir," says Borack in a harsh voice. "Don't call out so loud or
you'll attract attention. And by the gods, get that bedamned hound to shut
up!"

Malcolm turns around momentarily to face the other characters. "Well, are you
going to help us, you two?"
