Carideth slowly pushes open the door and surveys the room. The room is
approximately twenty feet by forty feet, and one long, continuous bench, which
is attatched to the walls, lines the room. There are several broken and
unbroken earthenware tankards lying all over the place. The keg of ale has
long since gone dry. In the middle of the room is a large statue,
approximately eight feet high, made of white marble. It seems to be a likeness
of a bearded man in flowing robes, clutching a staff in one hand and a book in
the other, looking up towards the heavens. The statue, given its size, is
quite obviously unremovable.

In another corner of the room, you see a very, very large spiderweb, but its
owner lies decaying at the bottom, apparantly slashed several times with a
sharp weapon. The spider was approximately two feet tall and jet black, but it
has now shriveled down and caved in.

A thorough search of the room yields no treasure and one latch underneath the
keg of ale. Immediately everyone searches for some sort of hint as to where a
secret door could be, and Aardvarkin manages to find a very small square
outline, approximately four feet by four feet, on the north wall beside the
door you just came in, but a bit to its left (east).
