Aardvarkin nods and decideds that as long as the potions dont bite, they're
safe.
as for DM absence...unless somebody can fully take over with the knowledge of
what he/she is doing...i think that the DM should either work in a complex
puzzle for the players to play around with until he gets back, or pause the
game during his absence...
There is no sense in getting a substitute that simply fills adventure
time getting us half killed or lost in some screwed up map, or suddenly
gaining 20 levels in a shot...
however, back to the story...
Aardvarkin is curious of the potions, and will do the following:
1) he will make a very shallow cut on his forarm...more than a scratch, but
less than enuf to be considered a battle wound.
2) he will take a HUGE whiff of the contents of the bottle
3) if he is not on the ground from any possible dangerous odours, he will take
a small amount and pour it onto the edge of his cloak to see if it is acid.
4) Then he will neatly spill a small pool (diameter 6'') on the floor and try
to ignite it, seeing if it is some sort of alcohol or oil.
5) then he will quaff 1/5 of the flask
6) anything happen to the wound?
7) any other effects?
8 ) if its poison...god Darn is Aardvarkin a gutsy bleepard!
