hmmm... a figurine cat? ... definitely interests me... i vote that i attempt
to use my animal empathy on the strange feline... being kind, Carideth will
offer the felins some food... if nothing happens i suggest we return to town
immediately, taking the cat with us...<oh ya.. i think searching the interiors
of the 2 chests would be a prudent idea...>  in addition to a possible death
by poison <some spiders are lethal.. not temporal> malcolm has suffered severe
injuries and none of us can heal him.. and without his skills and spells, we a
re at a rather imposing situation... to be blunt, one i dont really care
for...

aard: the order of the icewind, dark elf, and avatar umm..
definitely the icewind chronologically follows the dark elf... that avatar
trilogy is never specified.. altho considering the magnitude of its
interaction, it shold follw the icewind... 
 
<incidentally.. there are more books in the series after the icewind tril...?
