Interiors?

What do you mean by interiors, Carideth? Of the chest? Nothing.
Carideth whistles Thief to come over. Eagerly, his cat walks up to his master
and sits patiently at his feet. Carideth lowers the cat he is holding to the
ground, and Thief examines it. The other cat, as well, examines thief, and
after both cats determine there is no danger, they turn away from each other.
Thief walks a few paces away, turns around again, and sits down facing
Carideth. The other cat simply looks up at the ranger and meows softly.
Puzzled, he raises the cat to his chest, and begins preparations to return to
the surface, as do the rest of you.
However, you are startled by a sudden shriek from Malcolm. The priest, still
lying on the floor, is now sitting partially upright, his arm as far away from
his body, his face staring at the ring on his hand. He seems to be in a
terrible fright. "Who put this ring on me?" he screams. "Why? Why? Oh, don't
you know, you fools, it's cursed? I-" His eyes suddenly roll back up into
their sockets until you can only see the whites of his eyes. The strong wind
blowing in the room tosses his hair around his face, giving him an eerie
appearance. He gives a low moan, and then slumps back on the ground. Greenbolt
rushes over to ensure he is alright. Indeed he is; other than his rapid
breathing and great amount of perspiration, he appears to be fine. "Get it
off," he hears Malcolm whisper, "Or I shall be forced to use it.."
