Ivan says to Aardvarkin(g)(kidding) "I would really like those gauntlets. 
You, being a thief, could be hindered from using them.  If we later find that
they're magical, we can discuss it further."

As for what's happening now, Ivan says we should round up all the stuff we can
carry, and we can better inspect it in the light.  Ivan will help as needed in
transporting items and Malcolm to the surface.

BTW Ivan says "Unfortunately, (my monitor being broken and Ivan under DM
control) I wasn't here to remind everybody about the trouble we had with the
ring not coming off the leader's finger.  How did we get that off, anyways.  I
guess we'll just have to wait for a dragon to come to melt it off of Malcolm's
finger (kidding, although it could well work)."
