well.. to begin, a strong front is incredibly necessary... it also helps to
have ppl who can see in the dark if they happen to get separated.. the ranger,
a fighter-type w/ infreavision and scouting/tracking skills is a must...=:)
naturally, carideth volunteers ro do most of the scouting, as he probably
exceeds aard in the dark, as he can see and locate things much more easily..
<it's rather hard to gauge the #of ft until something.. or the # of creatures
unless u can see them...>
however, since so much of our party is light-dependent, i hope someone thought
to bring several torches..
personal suggestion for party order...
Ca Iv Ca<rideth
Iv<an
Bo Gr Bo<rak
Gr<eenbolt
Ma Aa Ma<lcolm
Aa<rdvarkin
this gives us a very strong front and a relatively secure rear...plus sleath
capabilities at both ends... if we find ambushes to be very frequent, we can
always shift Ivan and Malcolm...
sound good?
as to my animals... ill leave my mount at the inn, paid for of course, w/ my
saddle bags, and instruct him to guard them... ill brink Thief along tho..
another pair of night-eyes is always handy...and he knows to be quiet...the
food for him ill carry in my backpack...
as for the 2 silver pieces, why not use them to insure good treatment of the
horses we r leaving behind?
