Carideth quickly suggests that, while the two persons with infravision guard
against the spider, the rest of the party use the blunt weapons <or blunted
sides of the weapons> in the room to block the air.. if that does not appear
to work, how about trying to jam them w/ the room's items...
"Any of you mages.. or cleric.. have a light spell in your book? we could
always back out into the hallway to let that person convert a spell if the
other plans dont work.. if the door out is locked, we could always organize a
human windbreak to allow a small light to be used.."
Mr. DM: are we far enough from the spider to let fly w/ long distance weapons
1st rnd.. then switch to melee weps w/o penalty..?
if we achieve light for the party to see by, assume we attack by long range
until the spider comes to us...<if possible..>
