(a better title than Aard's.  His didn't even alliterate! :) ).

As for the ring, putting it on Malcom(s finger is fine, bu| it won't work. 
The ring does NOT have the cure for poison.  All it wd do is restore the
integrity of the flesh around the spider wounds, heal them and MAYBE (if the
word is correctly uttered), will restore the lost hit points to max.  Even so,
with healed wounds, Malcolm would still be susceptible (I love that word!) to
the poison already in his system.  I vote that we leave for the surface right
away after we kill the spider.  Whatever is in the chests will probably still
be there when/if we come back here.

Greenbolt will await the outcome of Carideth's battle, then will strongly
suggest we leave to seek help for Malcolm.
