Greenbolt and Borack lay down beside Malcolm and attempt to remove the
ring from his finger. However, it refuses to budge, and no amount of
tugging or pulling - even with the aid of Aardvarkin's yellow lubricant,
which smells suspiciously like butter, now that you come to think of it-
will free it. With all the commotion, Malcolm opens his eyes and tells
the two mages to stop. Quickly, he asks what the magic word is,
explaining that it will heal him once he utters it. Ivan (DM control -
his monitor broke down the other day) demands to know what this
supposedly "cursed" ring does first, and moreover, how he came across
that information. "Cursed? Did I say it was cursed?" says the priest
innocently. "Hmmm.. I must have been raving...."

Carideth puts the cat down and begins walking out of the room, but the
cat, unfortunately, does not follow. Instead, it walks over to its chest
and sits down beside it, waiting patiently.

Finally, are any of you taking any of the stuff in this room? A quick
re-check of its inventory:

 7 wooden shields, poor condition
 3 metal breastplates, poor condition
 2 metal gauntlets, poor condition
3 metal leg guards, poor condition
 5 crude bows, good condition
10 normal arrows, good condition
 1 short sword, good condition
 1 short sword, poor condition
12 spears, fair condition
1 hand axe with a split handle
1 hand axe with a split blade
 1 flail, good condition
 1 two-handed sword with a cracked blade
 1 dagger, good condition

Two notes: If you want to go out, I'll need directions, please. Who
knows, there might have been some sort of cave-in or illusory walls or
something.. or maybe Carideth is lying and has never been keeping a
map.. or maybe he lost it.. things like that, you know what I mean.. :)
And Aard, if you could please tone down a bit on the tech talk.. Most
medieval thieves would not often make remarks about their saving throws
or alignment.. in fact, to them, they don't even exist.. Thanku..
