Carideth smiles tolerantly at Malcolm's short-sighted question.
"As any WARRIOR knows, treasue is the spoils of war. The victor recieves
the possessions of the loser. As to unguarded treasure, there is such a thing
as salvaging law and I hold no qualms about recliaming treasure already stolen
by evil creatures... as i deem it both just and an excellent way to fight
evil... i admit i have a hard time taking from people, but if there is combat
involved... no prob... Now the divison of treasure.... I think the items
should indeed be held by those able to use them...a magical longsword in your
hands, for instance, would be an utter waste, whereas I, or another skilled
with that blade, could benefit. I think gems and the such should ne
distributed around and kept until we can sell them in a town or city and
divide the cash evenly.. Any items too bulky, or awkward, can be stored on
our remaining mounts...." Turing to Ivan, Carideth remarcks that next tiem
Ivan goes hunting, the ranger should accompant him.. going alone is
dangerous... plus the ranger is good in the woods...with a bow 2..."
