Carideth pauses before speaking.  "In the manner of trust friend gnome, i
believe our inactivity in terms of combat, despite our superior #'s, provides
a very good indication in itself.  I am sure we could indeed accompany you,
but im afraid i will not come as a prisoner or supplicant.... but as a friend
and guest.  And i shall not relinquish my weapons, and neither shall any of my
companions... for you must excuse my caution... i know nothing of you or your
race either..."

The ranger waits patiently for a response, prepared to respond with the afore
mentioned combat actions...
